ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Morgantown, West Virginia.

This is a 13-week contract position.

\n\nSchedule\n

Shifts are three 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights, with holiday rotation as scheduled.

\n\nJob Description\n

Join our dedicated team in the Neuro Stepdown and Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, where you will provide expert nursing care to high acuity neuroscience patients. Your responsibilities will include monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

\n\nResponsibilities\n

\n
• Utilize clinical skills to assess and monitor high acuity neuroscience patients.
\n
• Titrate drips as per physician's orders following established protocols.
\n
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to plan and evaluate patient care.
\n
• Provide education to patients and families regarding their conditions and treatment plans.
\n
• Maintain accurate and thorough medical records using the EPIC system.
\n

\n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n

\n
• Valid nursing license.
\n
• BLS certification is required; ACLS & NIHSS preferred.
\n
• Experience with neuro patients and familiarity with EVDs is preferred.
\n
• EPIC experience is required.
\n
