\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 12.5-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
\n• Float pool position requiring flexibility to work on multiple units throughout the hospital
\n• Can be floated to any unit within the hospital except for Psych and ED (unless managing holds)
\n• May float to Medical-Surgical units and manage assignments of 6-7 patients
\n• 2+ years of ICU experience required
\n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale
\n• Active New York RN license required at time of submission
\n• NURSYS Report License verification with all active RN licenses required
\n• Epic EMR system experience
\n• Navy blue scrubs required
\n• Work with specialty equipment including IABP, CRRT, Ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, TTM
\n• Care for patients with various diagnoses including strokes, sepsis, AMS, neuro interventions, respiratory failure, CHF, post-STEMI, CV surgery, cardiogenic shock, trauma, and major post-operative cases
\n• 42-bed critical care unit capacity
\n• Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed
\n• Local candidates accepted (less than 75 miles from facility)
