Job Description – Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN)

Weekly Pay: $2,064

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days – 3×12
Hours: 06:00 AM – 06:30 PM
Schedule: Every other weekend required
Local radius: No candidates within 75 miles

 

Position Summary

A Dialysis RN is needed for a 13-week day-shift assignment. The nurse will provide high-quality hemodialysis care in an acute care environment, managing a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio. Candidates must be able to work the posted schedule, participate in on-call rotation, and meet all compliance and vaccination requirements.

 

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for acute dialysis treatments
• Manage a 1:2 patient ratio in a high-acuity environment
• Coordinate care, assess patient status, and document all interventions
• Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and interdisciplinary teams
• Respond to emergent dialysis needs during call shifts
• Maintain sterile and safe treatment environments
• Follow all hospital protocols, infection control standards, and dialysis guidelines

Requirements Experience

• Minimum 1 year dialysis RN experience
• First-time travelers accepted
• Must be comfortable with day 12-hour shifts (06:00–18:30)
• Must participate in on-call rotation (nights & Sundays for emergent dialysis)

Certifications

• ACLS – Required
• BLS – Required
• No RQI certifications accepted

Licensure

• Registered Nurse license
• Pending license accepted

Additional Requirements

• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical & religious exemptions accepted)
• RTO: More than 7 days requires approval
• Guaranteed hours: 36 hrs/week (facility may call off up to 3× per 13 weeks)
• Must not live within 75 miles of facility
