Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and customize Shopify & BigCommerce stores from scratch or theme-based
2. Create custom Shopify apps or BigCommerce extensions if needed
3. Implement responsive UI/UX based on Figma/PSD/Sketch designs
4. Optimize website performance (speed, SEO, Core Web Vitals)
5. Integrate third-party tools: payment gateways, CRMs, ERPs, etc.
6. Troubleshoot & resolve bugs across devices and browsers
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, marketers, QA)
8. Stay up to date with platform updates, app trends, and API changes

Must-Have Skills:

1. 1 + years hands-on experience with Shopify (Liquid, Polaris)
2. Knowledge of BigCommerce (Stencil framework, Handlebars)
3. Solid command on HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
4. Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, Webhooks
5. Ability to customize & create Shopify/BC themes from scratch
6. Familiarity with tools like Git, Postman, npm/yarn
7. Basic understanding of SEO, CRO, and analytics
