Senior Staffing Consultant – Amtec Inc. Temporary Assignment: 6 months – 1 year Pay Rate: $35.12 – $40.00/hr (based on experience and interview results; rate not guaranteed) Shift: 1st Shift Position Summary Manages and is accountable for cost, scope, schedule, and quality for multiple concurrent assigned projects. Serves as the focal point to all stakeholders, both internal and external. Projects are focused on non‑recurring engineering (NRE) cost, complexity, and schedule. Responsibilities Ensure customer requirements are met by creating program charters, baseline plans, and other management components. Evaluate cost basis and pricing through resource requirements and risk analysis. Develop, define, and monitor plans; track costs and technical performance to milestones and schedules. Make decisions on technical and schedule priorities within the team’s scope. Facilitate effective product/technology gate reviews. Continuously improve project effectiveness through process and system standardization. Communicate project status to division staff, management, and customers via reviews; elevate issues as required. Make project decisions within overall budget and resource parameters. Establish, monitor, and control project costs; approve budget expenditures. Lead direct and cross‑functional teams to develop action plans for improved performance. Other responsibilities as assigned. Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance; may need nights, weekends, variable schedules, and additional hours. Physical Requirements Approximately 80% sitting and 20% standing/walking within company facilities. Lifting and carrying up to 35 lbs. Use head and neck in static positions, looking up/down and side‑to‑side. Perform light lifting from floor, table, or shelf. Push and pull carts or mobile tables, loaded and unloaded. Minimal heavy lifting, bending, twisting, climbing, or lifting arms above shoulders. Minimal exposure to excessive noise, hazardous chemicals, equipment, or uneven surfaces. Typing with computer and keyboard. Qualifications Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects with shared resources. Experience establishing a project baseline (scope, cost, schedule) and tracking progress against the baseline. Prior cross‑functional and business experience leading projects with high‑technology customers and products. In‑depth knowledge of the Project Management five‑stage process and proficiency in program‑management tools and methodology. Proficiency with scheduling, cost management, change control, time management, scope/resource allocation, work‑breakdown structures, and risk management. Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Project Online; Project Server experience highly valued. Ability to communicate and serve as a customer advocate to fulfill contract requirements; guide the team to address complex issues. Effective interpersonal and presentation skills; skilled at negotiation to achieve beneficial results. Proficiency with financial analysis (cost breakdowns, risk analysis, budget, etc.) and experience with contract terms, conditions, and profit decisions. Experience completing data analysis and reporting with MS Excel, PowerBI, Power Query, SQL, or similar. Thorough knowledge of regulatory compliance and the commercial aerospace industry. Proven ability to foster teamwork and support and develop the project team through training and coaching. Education & Experience BA/BS degree in engineering, sciences, business, or a related field. Certifications PMP Certification preferred; ability to obtain the certificate if currently not maintained. Years of Experience Prior project‑management experience of three or more years in an aerospace engineering environment.
