Calhoun Construction is adding a Project Accountant to our dynamic and ambitious team. At Calhoun, we are committed to our associates as well as the communities that we live in, and we want employees that share that same passion.

A Project Accountant will help us manage all the billing and invoicing that keep our projects successful, as well as other responsibilities.

This is a full-time, onsite position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Project Accounts Payable – TrimblePay
• Communicate with vendors and Owners/Owner reps
• Project Accounts Receivable
• AIA Review for Subcontractor contracts
• Contract review for projects
• Working with project managers on cost and budget variances
• Change order processing of subcontracts
• Assists in answering office phones
• Assists controller with special projects

Requirements:

• Must have 3+ years’ accounting experience
• Construction experience preferred
• Able to work in a team environment
• Organization and attention to detail is a must
• Knowledge of AIA payment applications forms is a plus
• Experience with Viewpoint Software (preferred, but not required)
• Knowledge of other pay app systems is a plus
• MS Office
