Job Description
Leon's Garden Center is currently seeking a full-time garden associate to join our team at our Kirkwood Hwy location! We are a local retail garden center featuring houseplants, fresh cut flowers, deciduous and evergreen trees/shrubs, annuals, perennials, herbs, fruits, vegetables, pottery, and a wide array of garden and pond supplies.
Some duties include but are not limited to: watering and weeding/pruning all outdoor plants, restocking outdoor tables with products, loading and unloading customer vehicles/company trucks, and completing deliveries of products as needed.
Employees must:
Have strong work ethic, a positive attitude and outstanding customer service skills
Be able to lift 50+ pounds
Posses valid drivers license
Know how or be willing to learn how to operate a forklift
Be available to work evenings and weekends (April-July)
Garden Center experience preferred but not required
General landscaping or houseplant knowledge a plus
