Maintenance Mechanics

Our client, a leading organization in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Food Production Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the production line team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: ANACORTES, WA

Pay Range: DOE

Shift: Flexible

What's the Job?

  • Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, gearboxes, hydraulic systems, and production machines.
  • Observe mechanical devices in operation and listen for irregular sounds to identify issues.
  • Dismantle devices to access and replace defective parts, ensuring proper functioning.
  • Inspect parts for imperfections and measure dimensions using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
  • Test and adjust equipment to meet performance specifications, ensuring optimal operation.

What's Needed?

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Production Maintenance.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and bagging machines.
  • Ability to operate hand tools, welding machines, cutting torches, and power tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and maintenance manuals.
