DBP Research Assistant
Duties and Responsibilities:
This hourly research position is to conduct semi-structured online interviews via Zoom or similar technology, as part of the Perinatal Autism Genetics and Epigenetics (PAGES) Study. The interviewer will receive training to conduct the Adult Attachment Interview (Dynamic Maturational Model) and will conduct one hour videotaped interviews. The interviewer will post availability times on an online calendar, and research participants will then schedule interview times at least one week in advance. Multiple candidates may be selected for this position.
Supervision Received
Direct supervision will be provided by Dr. Lane Strathearn.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficient in computer software applications.
- Ability to manage complex information with attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with others in a team environment.
- Ability to work outside routine work hours, i.e., evenings or weekends for one or more days per week.
- Six months to one year experience in customer service and/or in a health care setting.
Desired Qualifications
Interviewing skills within a psychology background.
Experience with REDCap web application.
Additional Information
Temporary
Hybrid or Remote within Iowa
Schedule: Part-Time, approximately 10-15 hours per week
Pay: $15-20/hour
